Description

Welcome to your first pottery class! Learn how to make your own beautiful pots out of clay, using the potter's wheel. Designed for the beginner, this class will teach students how to wedge, center and throw different shapes on the wheel. We will explore the basic techniques of throwing, trimming, decorating, glazing and firing while enjoying a fun and relaxing environment. Come in old clothes and bring a towel- you're going to get dirty! 8 weeks.
