Description

Hand building is a simple, immediate and virtually limitless way of expressing yourself in clay. This class will cover the basic hand building techniques of coil, slab and pinch. Whether you are a beginner or advanced, you will love making and glazing your own, one of a kind works of art.  Explore the figure, make animals, try a plate, vase or even tiles! 6 weeks.

*Students are welcome to bring pictures or actual ceramic pieces from their own collections.
Supplies

The $25 supply fee covers the cost of a 25-lb. bag of stoneware clay, glazes, and firing. Additional bags be purchased at the Center.

 An open studio schedule will be provided at your first class.
