Explore a wide range of media and techniques, both traditional and non-traditional, while creating fun and challenging aquatic artwork. Students experiment with drawing, painting, and mixed media. While students will be working on the same projects, the uniqueness of each student will surely shine through.
Students complete applied technology adventures including activities both on and off the computer with a focus on hands-on engineering and robotics, video game design and programming, animation and digital video production, digital art and more! On the first day camp, our adventure guides help children to select adventures and projects that suit their age, area of interest and skill level. Full day students must bring lunch, snack and drinks.
Storybuilder is a multi-media program that teaches children plot and character development through sequencing and editing classic tales. Children build skills in context comprehension and publish their own versions of these classic tales. The program features lessons in the form of age appropriate games in letter recognition, consonants, vowels and word families. Testing and data-tracking are enabled through a motivational electronic passport that kids love. Craft activities incorporating science and engineering topics build on the children's stories and help develop fine motor skills and fundamental science concepts.
On the first day of camp, campers collectively brainstorm character and plot ideas which become the basis for their own unique script. For the next four days, our campers have fun as they learn about basic theatre concepts through out the process of preparing their own original show for performance for friends and family on the last day of camp. Join us for fun onstage! Download REGISTRATION FORM and SCHEDULE HERE. |
